Public health bodies covering supplements and glucose consistently place fenugreek in the "not enough evidence" column rather than the recommended one (Yeh et al., 2003).

Fenugreek is a food, and at food-like amounts it is well tolerated by most people. It still has a distinct side-effect profile worth knowing before you start.
